    Has anyone seen a stainless steel outer drum damaged by a coin on this type of machine. It is only 18 months old and water is pouring out from somewhere above the motor mounting cradle, It has to be a hole in the drum even though I cannot see it. Customer says they removed a couple of coins before calling me out.

    Yup, scrapped a WD12UK on Sunday for exactly that reason. Goatboy’s got some cheap tanks for sale.

    Indesit makes them and coins it in the process, however, process coins in an Indesit does the opposite :rotfl:

    Have had a couple with spot weld failure to suspension mount leaking.

    Yes, these tubs can leak from the spot welding round the motor brackets. I’ve also had one leaking from the seam under the bracket on the top of the tub.
