    Hi,
Our dishwasher,a Prima LRP659 has probably had it’s day, can’t complain it’s lasted 8 years, it’s showing an
E3 code after 20 beeps or so, which I believe is heater element possibly.
Is it worth getting a repair done.
My main point though as title suggests is that this model is 540mm deep and everything I’ve looked at is a min. 550mm deep , does anyone know if this will still be suitable, until I get the old one out I don’t know what space I have to play with.
The kitchen fitters basically picked this model back then. The height and width sizes all look to be similar it’s just the depth, with the cabinet door on that 1cm could be a problem.
Sorry for long story, any feedback much appreciated.
    Cheers.

If you have the standard 60cm deep worktop anything should fit unless there are some unmovable pipes in the way. You will need to remove dishwasher to find out.

Let me know if you have to have the narrower depth and I’ll have a look around for you.

Thanks for advice it is 60cm worktops we have, don’t think anything is at back. I’ll post back when I get the machine out.
The fitters at the time also fed the water inlet connection to a T piece valve which also feeds my washer (don’t know why) so cuts my washer off when I shut it. If I don’t replace the dishwasher is it a 3/4 inch blank plug I need to close it off or would I be better getting the connection changed to isolate both machines independently. Think the wife wants a new one though.
    Cheers

Yes a 3/4 inch blanking cover cap nut in brass is the way to go. If it were me I would have the plumbing sorted to individual feeds.

Thanks again for replying, saw the brass cap I thought I needed, but ike you I think I’ll get a plumber in to sort it properly,it hasn’t been an issue all these years it’s just the usual when you get a problem I’d prefer isolation valves in place, kitchen company at time where a nightmare.
I’ve just measured internal depth roughly and it’s 50cm
to front of machine then 6cm to end of metal door, plus 18mm cabinet door. Manual says 540mm but looks like 560mm to me, won’t find out till I take it out.
Thanks for your all your help and advice.
    Appreciated.
