Noisy Samsung american fridge freezer.. it vibrates but if you push the door anywhere it stops when pushing but returns when you release! It is not a fan in the fridge or freezer.
I suspect the compressor as it coming from underneath, a previous agent changed the condenser fan for the same fault but never cured it and wouldn’t return 🙁
My question is if it is the compressor why does pushing the door/front of the fridge stop the noise??
Levelling or something perhaps? If it stops when you do that I can’t see it being a component at fault as, doing that shouldn’t make any odds to it.

Could be as I had it out and no noise.. that said when it was pushed back in there was no noise for 20/30 minutes with the compressor running, then off it went. It does appear to be coming from the compressor but it is difficult to pin down. It is about 7 years old and only been noisy for the last year according to the customer.
It’s most likely the compressor, could be a spring broken inside. It could also be noise transmission through the pipework to the cabinet.
Have you tried tweaking the condenser pipework? Failing that how about releasing one or both of the compressor mounting plates?
