Bosch built in model CMA 583MSOB/01
It has power to clock and both rotary switches function and can change programme and set time. Touch control settings do not respond, including child lock/rapid preheat. The operating module, part no. 12021697 which I believe is at fault is retailing on Bosch site at £197.03 which I think is ridiculous! I have seen mention here that there may be a Panasonic version of the same microwave, where the part may be better priced? Or perhaps someone here may have one to sell? Any comments/ advice welcome. Dougyes there are certain components that are panasonic but the panel andd sofware within I doubt you will find an alternative part
there is one on ebay but does not have panel so may be a common failure
you could as QER if they have a fix
DaveThank you Dave, I have sent a message/enquiry to the ebay link you have given me. I had already spoken to QER, and in this instance are unable to help, due to how the component is constructed. I see that Bosch has had similar problems before!
