I have a beko freezer in my garage and though my own fault, had accidentally defrosted it when i didn’t shut the door properly. Being in the garage, I did not notice for a ciple of days. To avoid a repeat, I have purchased a Mylo wifi probe thermometer, which alarms if the temp rises.

So far, so good… My question is on the install of the probe. Where the cable runs via the door seal, I can see that their is an air leak and the beginning of a build up of frost.

What is the best way of installing this probe properly to ensure a clean seal? I have read a few things. I am reluctant to drill through the side wall.

    Thanks in advance.

I fear that without drilling and sealing, you likely won’t be able to solve that problem and a wireless probe won’t work as it’s inside a metal box.
