    Hello All!

I’m hoping you can help. Almost a year to the day I purchased a Candy CBD485D1E/1 Washer Dryer.

Everything’s been great until about 2 weeks ago. When the machine is in the drying stage, a low vibrational sound emits from the machine for about 4-5 seconds, every few minutes.

I’ve linked an audio file from my Dropbox:

    https://1drv.ms/u/c/50cb761f643a7773/EeVat3AXaeNLpMwcAa4jjMoBYYCzPS5SHCxVHRWJIIBiUg

The sound is about 4.5 seconds into the audio file.

Could anyone shed any light regarding what it is? It doesn’t seem to be the drum as this seems to be working smoothly.

Thanks for your help in advance!

    Dale

see if you can figure out if the sound is from the top of the machine or the bottom

top sound will probably be dryer fan
    bottom sound probably pump

does it ever make it during a wash programme ? if no more likely fan motor

the only other thing i can think of is when its letting water in. you could run it till it makes the noise then turn the water tap off and see if it stops

well the only component at the bottom behind filter is the drain pump as far as i know

weird its not doing it on wash but it maybe hotter water on dry
