Not seen too many of these later dishwashers overfilling.

Its filling up to the top of the bottom spray arm then stopping and when the wash motor goes its leaking and activating the anti flood device.

I tried putting in a new reed switch and this has made no difference.

I’m thinking it could be the entire air tank/ heat exchange unit at faut but at over £100 its a big risk.

Has anyone else seen these later dishwashers with overfilling problems?

    thanks

wont be the air tank unless the counting wheel is sticking for some reason

does the water light come on ?

these faults can be hard. it could be a board fault miscounting the water coming in, missing a pulse ever now and then. you could go to the board and remove and replace the connection from the reed valve to make sure its getting a good signal

it could also be the main pump motor. dont forget these days the motor are used as sensors to check water levels at various stages so they dont need a pressure switch
