    Hello

    I have a Baukenecht built-under oven (not sure of model no) but need to find replacement knobs as the temperature indicator print has faded away…looks like quite an old model maybe from mid 90s?
    Any idea where I could get replacement knobs? Just need 2.

    Great! However, there are no distinguishing numbers that may indicate a model number – there is no manual / instructions either.

    Is there another way to identify the model? I looked on the Bauknecht website, but they all look way too modern to compare! As it’s built into my kitchen unit, I can’t easily remove it to check the back etc.

    Any advice greatly appreciated. 🙂

    It should be on a label around the door opening normally, occasionally it may be on the roof or rear of the oven which would invlolve removing it from the housing.

    Without it there is no way of finding the parts info I’m afraid.

    Hello again

    After some unsuccessful removing of screws, I have come up with another idea – can I just send you one of the cooker knobs so you can evaluate? Would that help? If so, where can I send it to?

    If we are going for long shots…

    do you have access to a digital camera, and could you take a picture?

    some of us are old enough and sad enough to identify on sight (NOT me of course!)

    but again, it is a long shot

    OK, I have the knob and I think it’s 4819 413 58698 but I would like to confirm.

    Any trade guys got one of these in stock ?

    I’ll try and borrow the digital camera from work and take a pic – good idea!

    Will wait to see if anyone replies regarding whether have this in stock in the meantime.

    I think I’ll take a chance on them as the picture looks so similar.

    Guess what turned up this morning from Whirlpool ?

    Two knobs and they are the right ones 😀

    £8.98 each plus £3.95 postage (inc VAT).
