ParticipantHi everyone
I have a Blomberg LDV42244 integrated dishwasher that i purchased back in Summer 2019. In the last short while my wife is reporting it is no longer cleaning dishes properly. I have looked at the obvious things like the filter at the bottom of the machine, made sure the spray arms are unclogged etc. I wonder could the impeller on the pump that pumps water into the machine be blocked ? If it is then is it accessible via the bottom? I heard some dishwashers have sealed bottom. Are there any other things that may be causing this problem? What other blockage checks can i do before the issue is more related to hardware failure etc.
Thankyou
Raji

ParticipantHi Dave i will check that , i guess by just starting the cycle and opening the door after a while and observing if the temp of water is getting hot. Assuming that is okay then what would be the next steps ?

Moderatorwell dishwashers are fairly simple
if you have heat, water , detergent and water flow it should clean
you have to figure out whats not happeningcould be a blocked motor stopping flow, no heat, you have checked bars and you know detergent is getting in

ParticipantHi electro , the dishwasher does heat the water, my observation is that the two rotating water arms, both top and bottom are not turning, having just been in the same postion throughout a cycle. I believe those arms need sufficent water pressure in order to turn? , leading back to a bloackage somewhere, likely at the wash pump/motor? I turned the machine on its side and there is no access panel into the bottom, so not sure how once gets access into the machine to check the pump/motor. Anyone familiar with how to access these components on a Blomberg please?

ParticipantYeah, there is a removable base panel. Three clips along the front edge hold it in place, possibly with the addition of a single screw to ensure it remains in place during manufacture and shipping. There’s also a small removable metal panel along the front to aid visibility and access to the underside of the machine.
