ParticipantAEG T9DEC866R – Type TC16H68HP Heat Pump Tumble Dryer – PNC 916098626_01
It’s not drying very well. I’ve made sure all filters are cleaned regularly and there are no kinks in the drain pipe.
I’ve been scouring the Web but I can’t find how to access the diagnostic/service mode. I’ve tried a combination of different buttons but to no avail.
Anyone know how to do it, please?

ParticipantThanks, Dave. I’ll have to wait until the current programme ends or SWMBO will not be happy!
However, on this model there isn’t really a closest button like on older models. I’ve attached a photo (not a very good one) to seek further guidance.

ParticipantThere’s an old Electrolux (AEG/zanussi etc) heat pump service manual from 2010 there may still be enough similarities, quite possibly including the diagnostic functions, to be useful. https://shop.electroluxarabia.com/Co…/728/934EN.pdf
And here’s a 2013 one

Thanks. The anti-crease button didn’t work but the Start+Refresh buttons did! (I suppose the Refresh button is the nearest).
Now I’ve got to work out how to interpret the codes!

ParticipantThis is what I read:
C01 ALL LIGHTS ON
C02 ? PUMP 000 (FLASHING)
C03 DRUM ANTI CLOCKWISE – – –
C04 COOLING FAN – – –
C05 DRUM CLOCKWISE 033 OR 034
C06 ? COMPRESSOR 041 OR 042
C07 ? 000 (FLASHING) THEN 111
C08 ? 000 (FLASHING) THEN 111
C09 ? 000 (FLASHING)
C10 ? E83Can anyone explain any of this, please? If E83 is an error code, I can’t find any mention of it.

Moderatorsounds like the knob on the front is giving the wrong output
but am not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure
but since the part is less then £10 its worth a go
before you do check the connections between the selector and the boardDave
