Hi Guys, this one is a pig, new type indesit dryer, it’s not heating, swapped the heater that came with all stats, iv also checked the extra 3 stats, the drum safety stat, drym safety stat and energy stat all check out as closed circuit, I checked that against new ones, 0.04ohms, it still won’t heat, could it be the timer? I’m at a loss…..

had the heater gone ?
if its a whirlpool design it may need a reset
turn dial to 6 oclock , push start 3 times, then move dial to 7 oclock and push start 3 times

It’s a vented one with just the minutes selected timer.
Do you have any voltage being sent to the element circuits?
This should be about the easiest machine to fault find on.

must admit did not check that just assumed it was electronic
I would check the float microswitch firstafter that the timer output to the heater

yes its a simple vented dryer with old type timer although its only just out of warranty, I’d run out of time and patience but correct iv not fault finded the outputs on the timer……
