Just a quick one, for a washing machine what would you recommend in each:
– Budget
– Mid Range
– Premium
It’d be interesting and might form the basis of an article on it.

Not easy to do, as most brands attempt to span at least two price brackets, plus the plethora of sister brands, but here’s my brand picks to kick things off:
Budget – Beko, Indesit
Mid range – AEG, Bosch, LG
Premium – MieleBudget – Beko or Midea
Mid range – Bosch
Premium – Are there any? In terms of build quality I would put Midea here!the problem here as i see it is most manufacturers try to cover as much of the market as they can. Like Bosch who offer multiple ranges each offering different perameters from cheap to expensive
but in general
budget would be Beko
mid range would be AEG ( inc John lewis Zanussi etc) Bosch NEFF Siemans ,
top would be Miele
there will always be a dont go near like Bush
