ParticipantHi, got an f4 fault during fill on the dishwasher, is this more likely the turbidity sensor or dodgy indesit electronics?
(from experience of the dryer burning down our conservatory last year!)November 6, 2025 at 10:12 pm #494075electrofix
Moderatorwell its a maybe
could be
NTC sensor cables disconnected or damaged;
– Cables or connectors disconnected or short-circuiting;
– NTC sensor wet, short-circuit;
– NTC sensor damaged, open circuit
faulty or contaminated cables or connectors
or the boardDave

ParticipantThanks, trying to find a part number for the thermistor but most sites list it as the turbidity sensor, is this a combined part, as I can’t see how a turbididty sensor can measure temperature?

Moderatornot sure where you are looking but that not hotpoints gen site
to get the correct part you will need model no plus the commercial code off the label
and go hereyou can then get the genuine part no that other sites hide beginning C00
then you can search to see who is cheaper
