Looking for a tumble dryer that is not a complete engineering cut price piece of garbage please.

So far had two Hisense products over the past two months. First one recalled due to a wiring “fault”
By the time the manufacturer had managed to organise someone to turn up with a tie-wrap and side cutters, I had rejected the machine and it hd been returned.

A second machine from the same factory was the replacement. This has worked for two weeks and now once up to temperature makes a noise similar to a cement mixer circulating a house brick.
The visiting engineer ( sent on behalf of Hisense) ran the machine and conceded that as the drum expanded from heating it was fouling the frame somewhere. Then decided it is although working, beyond economical repair.

Thanks for reading this far: just seeking opinion regarding a replacement machine before I purchase it.
Are there any quality machines on the market please?
    cheers
    Paul

AEG, Bosch and Miele if you can push the budget.

Some good reads on heat pumps can be found https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/buying-advice/tumble-dryers
