ParticipantHello,
The ignition on our Homark hob has stopped working, the switch is dodgy.
We phoned Caremark, but they needed to know the Model num of hob. We don’t have this.
It came with oven 01 – 702110/L (brown).
The ignition is made by Scarico (italy) type- 13IS4340Does anyone know where I can buy this ignition.
Or, do the oven and hob come as a pair. If so, does anyone know the hob part num.Could anybody please give help?
Thanks,

Only you know the hob’s model number. What you do is slip the oven out of the housing (undo the security screws first), then crawl in and look up………
Without it you have very little chance of finding the part you require, so many models over the years…………

Hi Stephen
Given the model number of the oven is 70211/L i’d have a very good guess (98{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} correct), the hob is 01-710124L.
I take it that it is LPG. I know the for a fact that the oven was sold by B&Q around 1995 to 1998 and it is actually made by STOVES (Glen Dimplex as it’s now known).
The hob was made in house by Bernstein Group PLC, please could you tell me if it’s the continuous spark (i.e Pres button and click click click) or single shot (press release click) and i should be able to get you the correct number, or other wise contact Caremark and quote the above hob model number.
Hope this helps and puts a bit of insight to your appliances, but please tell me if i’m wrong cos i will be gutted 😳

Thanks for your replies, Penguin and Woz.
I’d rather not pull oven out to check model number on underside of hob, I know the supply to oven is a flexible pipe, but I think it’s safer if I don’t move gas stuff.
Woz, oven / hob runs off natural gas, and it’s a continuous spark ignition, hold button and click, click, click. Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Stephen -
