KeymasterHello.
I have a Diplomat ADP8102 dishwasher and it seems to be stuck in mid program, can anyone suggest what I need to do to break out of the program, can it be reset or do I need to buy a new programmer.
If a new programmer is required does anyone know where I can get one and how much it will cost.

It’s stuck probably due to a no heat problem, the programmer (timer) on these Brandt maunfactured dishwashers rarely fail.
If you let it run for a few minutes then open the door and check to see if the water is hot first off, or is it completely dead now ?

Dave.
Thanks for your response.
I have removed the cover so I can see the timer and turned it round to drain/stop, program 59.
I have tried to run the program again and it does seem to come to a stop when it reaches the heat cycles.
I will try another run tonight to confirm that it is failing to heat.
Thanks Again.

Dave.
Could you please provide details on fitting a new heater element to this model If you have them.
Thanks.

I’m afraid I can’t give specific instructions on fitting of parts if this is what you are asking only general guidance of what may be at fault.
The heater details are:
Part number 31X9415 at £33.00 inc VAT and delivery.
But it may not be that of course, thermostats, broken leads etc.
Power off before checking of course :zap:
If you’re unsure, check repairs@ for an engineer 😀

🙁 Dave.
I have now replaced the heater element but the machine is not heating the water.
The timer is stopping in positions 2 & 6 o’clock during the cleaning cycle.Could it be that the timer has failed.
Thanks.

Unlikely, check the thermostat near the heater with the button on the top of it, it may need resetting.
Other than that, engineer time in all honesty 😉

Dave.
Thanks I will have a look at a thermostat reset.
If this does not fix the problem could I ask if you think it’s worth having an engineer out to fix it or do I go and buy a new one.
I have been told an engineer would cost between £60-80 plus parts, I know the timer is £105.00 to replace. Thanks Again.
