    Zanussi fj1040/c w/m does not tumble during wash and does short one-way tumble at start of spin, pauses, then jumps into spinning at 3/4 speed. Is there a speed controller in this model, and if so, where from and how much, keeping on mind it is 12 yrs old. 😯

    REMOVE PLUG !!

    lean machine back and check the tacho has not come loose on the rear of the motor this is a Common Zanussi problem.

    It’s threaded in to the end of the motor so simply tightening it will normally do the trick.
