I’m looking for the 2 pressure switches for a Zanussi dishwasher Z80 (model No. on rear D88410). Seems it never rains till it pours 😡 as the safety one must have already been faulty and now the control one gone sticky. Have re-adjusted it for short term any idea of where I can get them or something to replace them? Hey the machines only about 20 years old – just about to come of age….

Are you sure its the pressure switches – normally the chambers on the sump get blocked.

They are both still available though if you need them 😀

    50657569005 £14.89
    50657570003 £18.68

Please add £3.95 delivery, all inc VAT.

An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you’d like them but as Farmboy mentions it could well just be a blockage.

    Dave.

    Re: Zanussi Pressure Switches

    Hi,

Well I’m no expert but both swithes operate when blown down through the chamber top. I’ve cleaned the pipes – is it possible to get into the chamber itself? it looks to be a fully cast plastic top with a glued base when viewed from below the machine. I’ve adjusted the spring pressures on the switches and they now operate before the machine sump overfills..

    Thanks for your interest 😀

If you’ve been tweaking them then it may be worth replacing them but it sounds like the problem is with the sump, the pressure chambers on the older zanussi’s were moulded into the sump which makes it very difficult to clean them, normally ended up replacing the whole sump when this happened.
