    You that are on broad band trye SKYPE it is so cheap that when I get broad band in November, allmy out going call will be made this way.

    What are you doing with it Bill, routing from VoIP to land line? If so the quality can, sometimes, be a bit dodgy especially if you happen to be maxing out a 512Kbs ADSL line. Despite what they say. 😉

    I have used Skype qute successfully for conference calls and point to point and it does work well as do most VoIP solutions but the interface to a land line is not always perfect. I do use Skype now, in fact the currect crop of DECT handsets I have talk to the PC and also handle Skype calls as well which is a very nice, if not so cheap solution.

    Oh yes, for international calls you can’t beat using VoIP.

    But did you know that you can set up lo-call numbers in certain countries, like the US, for people there to call you on VoIP, on the other side of the globe, for the cost of a local call? 😉
