Hi, having a big problem with my FF water is gathering in the door seal, so every time I open the door it’s going everywhere, have noticed a slight build up of ice under the bottom drawer and assume that this could be melting into the door seal and gathering enough to overflow, but I can’t see where it is coming from, have pulled the fridge from the wall and hoovered all the dust off and the back of it is sometimes hot, sometimes cold I would be grateful of any advise to help me with this problem as I just can’t afford a new FF at the mo! anyway this is only just coming up to its 3rd Bday

Hi is the water coming from the fridge or the freezer if from the fridge compartment check the defrost channel which is properly blocked/restricted water running down the back and running out the door

Ok same kind of fault the drip tray in the freezer is blocked but with ice usually caused by defrost tray element going open circuit not a DIY job and not an expensive job try repairs@ input your postcode and see if there’s someone local hope this helps

We had same thing on our 56/4 a couple of years ago it was under warranty at the time. On ours the deforst pipe was blocked.

engineer said to defrost totally, clean the tube and raise the front legs so unit was tipped back slightly.

    worked fine.
