Does anyone know if this cooker has a separate fuse? I was replacing element and wife turned grill on!! Big bang but fuse in mains cupboard is ok

    Cheers

No, there is no internal fuse as such.

The shorted element may have blown the timer, thermostat(s) or selector switch.

I’m guessing the cooker has now gone completely dead ?

Power off before checking :zap: or check repairs@ for an engineer 😀

No power at all, no indicator light, no fan, no grill, no cooker. To be honest I was replacing cooker element, had taken old one off and stopped for cup of tea. wife turned cooker on at wall to make toast! wires to element shorted I think, BANG!! but fuse in fuseboard is ok 😈
