    Okay, I thought things were bad just because the local exchnge wasn’t kitted out with a DSLAM, but dear God the middle of a goddam forest in Cumbria is worse!

    I’m sure she picked this place for exactly that reason mind you. 😕

    Anyway I’m reduced to lowly GPRS with a low signal on that and email errors all over the place so no email for me until I escape back to civilisation. 🙁

    I will escape, just dunno when. On the plus side, as I can’t do any online work I’m forced to do one of two things…

    Get drunk and chill out.

    Get drunk and do some offline stuff to post later.

    Guess what I’ll be doing in the quiet evenings once the kids are comatose. 😉
