    Hi,
This is a frost free Candy. The freezer is not cold enough with summer outside temp. of 25- 30deg. Ice cubes have melted and ice is not forming in the ice trays. There is good amount of frost formation on the inner back wall of the freezer and there is not much cold air circulation. Only the food at the back against the inner wall of the freezer stays frozen and the rest of the freezer food is getting defrost. The freezer door closes fine and there are no gaps.
The fridge light works. I tried to increase the dial from 3 to 4+ but it did not make any difference. The fridge section is working fine.
    Suggest solution please.

    Regards

It’s possible there is an ice build up blocking the air flow, try a total defrost for 48 hours and see what happens.

If it either doesn’t solve the problem or recurrs quite quickly then you’ll need an engineer to check it for you.

If you need one, try here Repairs@ 😀

Re: Candy Fridge Freezer CP2711F/9 problem

I have the same model F/F. The freezer seems to keep the food frozen, however the back wall freezes up. Sometimes it’s so much that one of the baskets gets frozen in. I’ve had a quick look and it seems that there is a huge build up of ice behind the (removable?) panel as well as in front. So much so, in fact, that the plastic panel has a noticeable bulge outwards. 😯
I’ve removed the ice from inside the compartment, but what else should I do? Am I going to cause more problems if I remove the panel? What is behind the panel anyway?

    Any help greatfully received…

Nearly everything is behind the rear panel, I would suggest the defrost first as my post above, if that doesn’t work then there is a problem with the defrost cycle itself.

If you do decide to go in and have a look, please power off first :plug:

I have removed the back panel and removed all the ice every 2 months for the past 2 years, think that candy have a common problem with this model
