    I have just seen in the public W/M forum that a guy thinks his machine is faulty because it takes an Hour plus to complete a wash.

    With this thought in mind whats the most extreme case of “I know it’s not right” you’ve ever come across ??

    I’ve been lucky, my worst has been a little old lady who sat and timed her f/freezer switching on and off and as the times were not identical over a 6 hour period she was certain it was not right, and wouldn’t let me leave until i’d fixed it.

    She’d timed it to the second and had it all written out on an A4 sheet.

    After about 40 mins of persuading I finally got her to understand how it works and that keep opening the door to check it’s still on makes it even more iratic. (is it spelt like that)

    Erratic. The big thing to remember is that there is always something wrong. Whether it be an actual problem with the machine, or a customer with too much time and not enough information on how the machine is meant to work, you have to be able to fix it regardless. I find 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of my job is just informing people how the thing is meant to work and how to operate it correctly. I too have had note-taking oldies, and the ones that watch their frontloader like a tv, just waiting for something to fall to pieces.

    I had the same problem when i tried to upload my avatar from fixitnow.com. There must be a way!?!

    Go onto a forum. Then go into Profile, it should up load from there, providing it’s not too big.

    Anyway, with regards to the Topic in hand……

    Several weeks ago I went a Zanussi, where, amongst the general fixing that occured I noted that the fill hoses were reversed. Fitted them the correct way round, advised the customer and left it at that. A week later she rang up to complain that the machine now took 14 minutes longer to complete the 40c cycle!

    I love customers.

    get customers like this all the time call me out on some wild goose chase but i am getting paid for it comes under the heading of

    MOKOF machine ok operator faulty 😆
