KeymasterHi all
My washer won’t work properly.
I require assistance, I have viewed other questions in the forums and can see that you are all very helpful.
When I goto diag mode the LEDs that are on are as follows;
High Water Level On.prior to this water was being siphoned out of machine, agitate a couple of times to sense water level and then would continue to fill, sometimes the Hot + Cold LEDs would flash at end of program.

Kerry,
From the diagnostic mode, we need the lights lit on the wash progress panel. They are assigned a binary value from right to left; spin=1, then 2, rinse=4, short wash=8 etc. Add up the value of the ones which are lit and we can work it out from there.Regards,

Thanks for quick contact.
Wash Progress code as follows as seen left to right on panel;
11010110
Assigning values to this binary right to left indicates it represents 214 in decimal.Are you able to decipher and correct the fault using my guesswork.
Would appreciate manual of codes to assist me further, this was being used by my Mother who had enough of it going OOB, springs were missing off the corner supports under the lid.cheers

Hi Kiwi,
214 doesn’t seem to be a valid code…… The hot and cold leds flashing indicates water supply problems, and syphoning. It can’t be as straight forward as the drain hose being jammed too far down the pipe, can it?Alexa has the diagnostics, but he appears to be away at present. Sorry.
Regards,

Turn machine OFF on the front panel. Hold down the Water Temp Down button and press the POWER button. Release buttons. You are in Diagnostic mode. Press the spin speed up button until the hold and slow are lit. Write down the LEDS which are lit across the top row of progress LEDS. and post back. 😀

Thanks again for your thoughts, pipe in too far probably describes accurately the situation, so have adjusted that part, right again on code 214, I had the MED + HOLD LEDs on instead off HOLD + SLOW.
Correcting that bumbling error now has LEDs as follows;
00001100
Giving code 12.
Appreciate work both you + Canadian hopeful doing.
This has definitely got to be one of the most resposive forums I have come across with easy to understand language from technical people.Kind Regards
Kerry

12 is a flood protection fault, so it looks like the hose position is probably the cause due to the syphoning. The drain hose should drop as it comes out of the W/m then come up to the height of the lid on the W/m, then a short length of pipe should go into the drain/tub, so that the end of the hose is never covered by water. Also check the drain flow when pumping out, it should be as thick as the hose and rapid. If it isn’t, there could be a drain restriction or a faulty pump. Let us know how you get on. 🙂

If I pop my FP LW095au into diag mode as above, with hold and low lit the following happens:
0000 0** (** being on alternating flash)It started playing up today, was beeping like a reversing truck with the following lit:
0100 101The drum was still half full of soapy water.
I shut it off & re-started the wash load,
to come back an hour later to find no lights no beepeing, but the same half drum of soapy water.
Re-washed one last time and it went ok?Any Ideas?

Blocked or overheating drain pump.

The pump is part of the power supply on **9 models onwards. Would advise you check the pump soon as possible or you will need a module as well resistance is around 36 ohms. There should be no sign of overheating or water leaks.
