    Hi Chaps,
    Have a sharp SJ-58LM-C2W frost free f/freezer. problem was defrost timer not advancing from defrost so everything defrosted. I replaced the timer but it seems to have done the same thing again. Any one had experience of these (pretty similar to the daewoo’s). Advance the timer and it kicks in again.

    probably the defrost termination sensor / fuse / element has gone and not allowing the neutral to go back to the timer and advance,if there is a break in the neutral circuit the timer will not advance.
