    Hi All,

    We’ve just moved house and inherited one of these machines. I’m assuming it’s fairly old as the Ariston parts phoneline advised me the manual was obsolete. I’ve also tried the link elsewhere on this forum and it appears to have been removed from the Ariston site.

    I’ve a couple of problems really, after a test wash the door won’t open and without the manual we really can’t decipher the washing machine programme selector.

    Any hints, tips or help greatly appreciated.

    Most likely you will need a new ‘Door Handle Kit’ and possibly a new ‘Timer Knob’. The parts are still available although I would recommend getting a local engineer to fit them as it’s really not a DIY type job.

    Thanks for your reply, however the manual has turned up and the door is now open.

    Turns out it was waiting for the drying cycle to complete.
