My dishwater makes usually sounds but does not fill up. I am currently adding water as a short term solution which seems to do the trick.
Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be.

might be an idea to check if the fill hose is kinked or if the tap has accidentaly been turned off. before any further investigations.

It will be bunged up with gunk on the meetering unit, its in the left hand side panel, (when viewed from the front). Dont attempt anything without unplugging first. and dont try to use it as it will burn the heater out…..if it hasn’t already.
Not an easy machine to work on, try our repairs @service to find an engineer.
