Hi all
Our dishwasher failed to take in water, I have replaced the main inlet switch value with a new one and now it takes in water very slowly with a gurgling sound and takes over an hour to complete its cycle, can anyone give me some advice on what the problem could be

Sounds very much like a water supply problem…have you done the usual checks i.e. fill hose not kinked, tap fully on (gate valves…the type with a small plastic lever are notorious for sticking and the plastic lever cracking)?

If when you disconnect the black inlet hose from the back of the dishwasher and then realise a good flow of water is getting at least that far. Then the problem is internal to your machine and an inspection of the water filling system the only course of action.
