    Hi Guys,
Surfing through your fora has been amazing. My Prob is that my machine with a date stamp of Sept 2002 is completly dead. I have tried powering down for an extended period and then repowering. No response whatsoever.
Are there any fuses, thermistors or fusible links in this machine. What diagnostic tools are available.
Is it just me or does a two and a half year service life seem a bit ordinary.
Appreciate any help you can give me.

My advice is phone F+P, let them know the problem, and see what they are prepared to do. 2 1/2 yrs is too short a time. 😡

    Thnx Kiwi
Called F&P and thier tech replaced the diverter valve which had shorted and also blown the controller.
Had to pay for the service call but they supplied the parts.
He tells me the new valve has a cover and this problem shouldn’t reoccur.
Is this a common problem and will the mod solve the problem

It just shows a polite call to the right people can make a big difference$$.
In answer to your questions, yes and yes. A common problem with a simple solution, which has (so far) worked well. Glad I could help. 😉

The valve is under the WM next to the drain pump.
