    Can anyone suggest where I could buy a bulb for a Matsui 170TC microwave please? I have tried a range of specialist electrical retailers but without success.

    Unfortunately replacing microwave bulbs should only be carried out by specialist help and are not usually supplied outside the trade 🙁

    If however you know what bulb type is required we could point you to a supplier?

    It was a fairly simple matter to remove the bulb from the microwave oven. Unfortunately all I can tell you is that it is a screw in type bulb with “240V 20W CO SS’ on the base.

    Be careful when opening a Microwave Oven up. You must have the facility to test for microwave radtion leakage after closure. Also be aware of extremely high voltages & stored energy risks.

    How about sending us a photo of it? Does it have an SES thread?

    It is a screw-in type, to check the size measure the diameter of the screw end, it’s probably 14mm.
