Going out to this dishwasher (Hpt DWF40P) early this week, customer reports it is only beeping & no sound of water coming in or being pumped out, no noise other than beeping when she pushes bottons.. This is the electronic control one i think!
Are there any faults that can be registered or read by the engineer & how do you reset them?Re: Hotpoint DWF40P only beeping
Error codes for this machine are in this forum’s Error codes list, on page #2 posted by lotusray.
dishwasher fault codes with bit 100 timer(written on serial no)
led1=overflow water in base
led2=inlet valve
led3=thermister
led4=timeout heating
1+2timeout draining
2+3timeout filling
1+3filters blocked
1+4software error
2+4heater
3+4timer hardware
Reset is achieved by turning the selector to ( you’ve guessed it ) RESET, switching on then waiting a few seconds. All the lights should go out if there is no fault.
