Can anyone Help? my washing machine is flooding over. The pump is working and it empties the machine but it flows from the powder tray when filling. It’s as though the machine doesn’t know when to stop filling. Is there a level switch or flow meter on the machine anywhere?

The chances are the water level control system has failed but only in some minor way in that either the system is blocked with debris or the hoses to it are leaking?…Both of which can easily be checked out by an expert at very little cost to you.
