Has anyone managed to register for this site yet? I’ve tried umpteen times but when I submit the form it just comes straight back with the form again. It’s as if it is trying to tell me I’ve missed something but it won’t tell me what it is. I can still get into the Washvac site but I want to order a part that is not listed at Washvac. It says non account holders are accepted instantly so it seems they just discriminate againt existing customers. 😕

Yes indeed I did a while back now. Once you get email confirmation using your Wolseley account number and password it should be straightforward enough, except that if you use Internet Explorer as a browser you need to set-up access permission for their site to be added to your PC (they usually show you how thats done in their info pack)

    Best of luck!

And, you have to omit the forward slash from your account number when logging in.

    Re: Parts Center Website

I still cannot get my established discounts transferred from my Wash Vac account onto the Parts Center website 👿

My local sales rep blames the staff at Parts Center and the staff at Parts Center say it is up to the rep to set the ‘discount platform’. :con:

Meanwhile like many other account holders wanting urgent spares supplies….I will go elsewhere 8)

I can get access to plumbing spares but can’t seem to find appliance spares at all. Have got to phone them tomorrow to find out what’s going on.

You’ve been reading this straight off their recent ‘mail-out’ eh Paul? :rotfl:

In fact the information they give on that adds to the confusion we are currently suffering trying to make heads or tails from their ‘site’. 🙁

Currently using Identiffier is still way off target in finding the parts you need. The only guaranteed success any former Wash Vac customer will get at this moment in time is the use of the old ‘bin numbers’ as they can easily be found when typed in the box marked “Keyword Search”. That at least will show the part you want. without that bin number god ‘elp ya!

I’ve just been wrestling with their “Saved Packs” function which allows me to add to my order day after day without placing an order until I’m ready. That took some figuring out I can tell you, but at least I’ve got that sussed.

I have to say they have a lot still to do to get this thing running but having spoken to the powers that be within the organisation I still haven’t lost faith in them. My discounts are in place, I do indeed get next day delivery (at last) and most importantly the support is their from them (cannot fault that at all).

2.5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} cashback you ask???? I will use mine at Sainsburys and save them up for a belter Christmas shopping spree in the Beers & wine section…CHEERS!

    Hi martin
My discounts ar also in place.
I find all the parts I want by old w/v number in parts centre box & by putting the manufactures part number in the keyword search.
Been back through my past invoces this way and it seems the same. the only numbers that dont come up are the ones they didn’t have on wash vac site and I got from connect.

Beware if building an order as you cannot save just one order line and that item will dissapear from your order if not saved after a certain time as I have found out to my cost. Its a bit of a catch 22.
Also, the check stock function appears only to check the stock at local plumb centres and provides a list of addresses and managers names etc.
BTW I have not yet had a visit from parts centre reps to show me how to use this so I may be just doing it wrong.
And what of pattern alternatives? Have not yet come across an option for this.

You need to hit the “Save” button, then in the “Save as” box give some sort of reference number or name. Then ‘save’ that order and it will be saved forever and retrievable at any time under the Floppy Disc Icon “View saved Packs”

You can add to it at any time in the future and indeed have several “Saved Packs” if you wish.

You need to enter the postcode of the actual Distribution Depot (DL10) and not your postcode.

I’m sure in the fullness of time a rep will call and see you to explain, but they are’nt that red hot on it anyway. If you’re stuck its best to phone their helpdesk I reckon.

And I know what you mean about ‘alternative part no’s’, they don’t exist any more and that will be one of many of their undooings in turning customers away to other more brilliant sites that have 🙁

yes, but the point I was making was that you cannot save a single line, there has to be more than one line to save. I had to add a hotpoint carbon brush just to save the first line, after all an order has to start somewhere, and then delete the brush when another part is added.

Indeed so, I cannot figure that either (and spookily enough, I often fill in odd orders with a Hotpoint brush or too as well – funny that 😆 )

But seriously though, lets face it, I cannot see where the hell or what the hell they are possibly going to do to improve (or even add to) the existing website. It is after all the most appalling bad piece of software that is as archaic as Windows95 is to Broadband. 🙁
