Hello there,
Found your site looking for help, my problem is that cycle starts, semi fills then approx 1 min into programme empties, the switch then clicks round and round and round. I counted the flashes as others have done and 8 seems to be the order of the day. This is the second time this has happened, first under warranty, engineer appeared to just reset the switch. We have tried this but no luck, but then again we dont have any instructions so may not be using correct sequence, you may have this info?
Can you help please?

If it’s 8 flashes then it’s a heater control problem (or it should be ;))
If you’ve checked all the usuals like water supply and it’s draining OK it may be worth asking an engineer to check for you, have a look in repairs@ for one 😀 or if you do decide to dive in and have a look yourself, please remember to pull the plug :zap:

Turn the knob to one of the “off” or black dot positions then hold the start button in for a few seconds.
That should work hopefully 😀

Good news!
Wouldn’t reset last night but this morning the machine had a change of heart, and is washing as we speak.
If I had to call the engineer I was grateful for the advice offered by yourselves.
I have found this site really useful and will recomend to my friends.
