Hi, I used a cleaner as advertised on TV, now my Whirlpool D/W adp5966 won’t work, just says F8 as an error, pls help, thank you ! 😕

Hi Rose,
The error displayed relates to a failure in the water level control system. Was there a lot of foam remaining in the cavity when the service wash was finished? If there was, it probably thinks it’s still full of water when it should be empty.Things you could try – set the programme and start, you should hear the drain pump running. If it does, open the door (the programme will “hold”) and empty in a saucepan full of water. This may well dilute any remaining foam and allow the water level system to reset when the pumping finishes.
Even leaving it alone for 24 hours might do the trick, as the foam will break down over time.
Failing that, it’s coincedence and a technical failure has occured. If this proves to be the case, check repairs@ or Directories fro a UKW repairer in your area.
