Pls pls pls can someone help me out?
My problem is this, on my hotpoint wma40s the start switch stopped working I opened up the machine and found the small switch on the control board had come off. I removed the board and re-soldered the switch( I am an electrician) and here is where i got in a pickle. i stupidly thought that the connectors would be unique i.e each connector would only fit is correct place on the board . How wrong i was , I replaced the board only to find it burnt to a crisp when i powered back up. Having just payed 75 quid for a new board i would be really really grateful if some one could either e-mail me blackylad@aol.com with connection details ,or reply to me with some help. hotpoint are no use and I cannot seem to find a diagram anywhere!!!
    TIA

Sorry Blacky, I did reply to you but unfortunately the database crashed and some posts were lost yesterday 🙁

    So..here goes again…

The Live feed from the mains filter (terminal 2 Red/Green goes to Term 2 on the selector switch. The neutral on the Filter (term 1 Brown/Green) goes to term 1 on the Selector switch. The connector blocks only fit on their relevant positions, but there are 3 connectors that can be confused. The 2 Black leads from the Pressure Switch go to terminal X9. The 2 red leads from the Heater/Thermistor go to X2 and finally the Blue lead and Black lead connector block goes to X11.
