I have had this dishwasher in a corner of the workshop for ages but now a friend is pestering me to supply a cheap machine so I have dug it out. On prog. 2 it enpties for a minute or so, clicks onto the fill position, fills up and the wash pump starts. It then just sticks at that position indefinitely. I don’t think the fault is heat related as the heater does not come on for another couple of timer clicks but heats up OK if you turn it thus by hand. I suspect it’s a case of stripped gear teeth in the timer but could it be anything that the timer is waiting to happen? I suppose I should check for mains at the timer motor at the sticking point but any other ideas would be appreciated.
