Hi,
look round the back of the appliance there should be a red reset button try pressing that first, if it has tripped check for a blocked filter and condenser.hope that helps.

If it’s nor tripped the reset then it’s likely to have blown either the safety stat or the element. Dave Conway should be able to advise you on part numbers and prices.
As BobHope says check the filter. A blockage can cause the appliance to overheat and blow the thermostat. There’s no point in replacing a part only to have the new one blow due to the original fault remaining.

There are three thermostats and the heater, any of these can cause this fault:
Heater 421309221071 – £17.45
Inlet thermostat – 421309221251 – £19.19
Exhaust thermostat – 421309221081 – £18.21
Manual reset thermostat – 421309221261 – £14.17All inc VAT, delivery £3.95. You’ll need to either carry out a coninuity check on all of those with the power off :zap: or ask an engineer to diagnose for you, check Repairs@ if you need one 🙂

There’s a kit which contains the element, inlet stat & reset stat available; part number 421309238041 which retails at £46.80 exc VAT & P&P from MFI. Doesn’t contain the vent stat, though.
Never seen one of the reset stats go open circuit before.
If you find that your vent stat has blown check that the vent hose is extracting properly and has no dips along it’s length, such as from leading it under the floor boards. If there is water collecting in your vent hose you have a problem with extraction.Craig

Hi.
The pressing of the red reset button worked for me, so thanks for the information.
Another question however, can anyone tell me where I can download an electronic version of the manual for the White K Knight 767 condenser/tumble dryer?
