Be carefull with these Inverters Dave.

I had a long conversation with a local Panasonic agent a while back and the underlying cause is 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time the magnetron, it takes the inverter PCB with it. Panasonic always replace both when in guarantee, it’s probably BER to be honest.

DPC AU is the user PCB, DPC DU is the inverter PCB (I think). SALI disk shows the “Inverter Assembley” as part number E606Y4V00BP, does that match up ?

dont know part nos not on the letter sent by seme

but think i can see the point of replacing both parts think i will scrap it as the door outer has cracked as well.

if mag takes the board you would have thought a firm like panasonic would have built in protection circuits.

    Thanks

I’ve been thinking that for ages. These new inverter microwaves are c**p in my opinion. We are panasonic service agents and I would say 75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the repairs done involve replacing magnetron and inverter, and as far as chargeable repairs are concerned, the trade account price for an inverter is a staggering £70.50 +vat+magnetron+labour. Not very cost effective!! Bring back h/v transformers and capacitors.
