    Hi, I’m in Harlow, Essex. Have a Diplomat 8242 dishwasher which has stopped working – much to my dismay 😥 !!!!!!

    Problem is – It turns on ok and starts the programme but stops within the first 5 odd minutes. when the door is opened the first 3 lights are flashing and the 5 light is solid. Have tried to reset, but doesn’t make any difference.

    Can anyone help or recommend a reasonable engineer close to me.

    Go into repairs@ or Directories and type in your post code. A local UKW repairer will soon be revealed.

    There is a note about this fault, see the replies to the post titled “ADP8342 – FLASHING LIGHTS”. I have the same problem with mine, but can not find any signs of a leak. I am drying mine out for a day before calling an engineer just to see if that works.
