    Anyone know where i can obtain an evaporator fan motor for one of these. Problem is the existing one is 42w and the only ones i can find are the square frame axial fan the biggest which is 23w,which won’t circulate the air to the top of the fridge.

    If this is a tangential motor, have a look at RS Components http://www.rswww.com and type in product number 332-5734.

    Spec is:
    Operating Voltage 230 Vac
    Width 395
    Power Input 50W
    Noise Level 48dB
    Airflow 200m³/h
    Bearing Type Sleeve

    Any good ?

    There are quite a few others there as well should that one not suite 🙂

    Unfortunately it isn’t a tangential fan.The nearest one I can find that would fit is a square axial frame axial fan (172×150) but it is not strong enough to circulate the air i.e. 23w as opposed to 43w.

    try derbyshire refrigeration, tel 0115 930 8022 part no. fmp025.
    blade size 300mm diamater 900rpm 45watts fully encased in motor and blade guard.
