I had to fit a new Bosch timer knob this morning, part No. 155314. I found the new knob was missing its tiny grey plastic pointer so I had to fit the one off the old knob. Bosch probably only pay pennies for these knobs so it seems pathetic that they try to cut costs in this way. 🙄

Just received a couple of these and tiny grey plastic pointers are on them.
May have just been unfortunate with yours Phil. Ordered from Connect BTW.Bryan
