    Dear BSH-man

More s/h information from the boss here.

    He’s got a Bosch WFF2000 that’s being weird 😕

At the start of any program (including the cancel position), it locks the door, then the motor does a quick burst of speed one way, and a quick burst of speed the other way. Then it goes into fault mode, with the pre-wash light flashing.

The motor is ok. First thing he did was check the tacho and magnet.

If you unplug the motor, the m/c will fill, without going into fault mode.

He just wondered if anyone had heard of this fault, before he condemns the module/timer hybred thingy.

If motor and tacho are ok I would say yeah it’s the board.

Assume there are no earth faults on m/c.

Sounds like the module/timer is at fault. I would try another motor first just to be sure. 😉
My favourite washer, that one. 😀

BTW has your (kid?) Brother started yet?

The motor is the fault and not the module in my experience with these 😉

    Goatboy here!

    Good idea Chris.

I’ve set up this account for ‘the boss’. He’s a wise old genius, but I don’t know if he’ll figure out how to post or not. 😆

I’ve also setup my brother with internet acess recently, so I’ll get him on too.

I won’t use Grahame’s account to post again.
