Having priced up the cost for a Creda Solagrill element (6224727) the best so far is from electrue at £70+, As the cooker also needs a halogen element its looking like a No No. Masterpart list a newer version with only 4 bars instead of 8 as on the original At £34+(6101897) Would any one know if it would be a suitible replacement i.e fitting & wattage? Thanks in advance

    Nope, I don’t think so.

The later one 6101897 is 10mm smaller in width and 5mm shorter.

It may fit though with a bit of ingenuity 😉

The Homespare book lists part No. 4295 which is just the elements without the framework but this does not seem to be on the website.

Thanks for all the replies I once tried the homespare kit and found it to be a pile of C**P. Called the customer tonight expalined the situation and he told me to order the parts evan at the £175 I quoated him. Mind you this cooker is 10 to12 years old cost £700+ when new and is in superb condition so the cost of ownership over life of the appliance has been quite low.

Never bought one yet – always clipped them back together with microtemp crimps. 😀
