    Hi,

I havean integrated diplomat dishwasher which is less than 12 months old. From about a month after it was installed it has not switched itself off, i have to open the door and put it onto rinse myself otherwise it would be going all day!!

    Has anyone got any ideas,

    Thanks

Model number please Joosh – check around edge of door.

    Does it heat the water?

    Hi

    Model no is ADP8342

The water seems to be cold unless it is left on for 2 / 3 hours.
Although I don’t think it gets hot enough – the dishes do not get very clean.

    Thanks

    Jo

Ok, the programme will be hanging, waiting for the water to reach temperature. Most probably, the safety thermostat will have tripped. This is usually caused by people using 3/4-in-1 tablets. They turn the water to froth and the element overheats.

As the machine is under guarantee, I’d get the agents out and change back to separate wash agents.

Ok thankyou for the advice – I thought it may be the case of contacting an engineer but didn’t know if I was doing anything wrong.

    Thanks again

    Jo, 😀
