A Dishwasher that runs on sound and bubbles could be the perfect answer to modern kitchens.
The ultrasonic ‘CLEANSE’ fits inside a sink and cleans crockery by using exploding bubbles. Designed and created by 22-year old Katy Buchan, the Cleanse is in line for first prize at this year’s Concept Product Awards at the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show
Katy came up with the idea while studying industrial design at Napier University in Edinburgh.
“I wanted to build something which would fit in with the current trend for smaller homes”, she said.
“In new houses, it is the kitchen that tends to be the smallest room and it’s difficult to get dishwashers to fit in them, it doesn’t need much water and usins washing-up liquid”. (Daily Mail)
