I’m having trouble with the detergent in my dishwahser, staying in the dispenser or falling out and sitting at the bottom once the cycle has finished -do you know what the problem might be? 😕

There are several reasons. If the dispenser is open at the end of the cycle then the dispenser is probably OK.

The flap may be restricted by something in the cutlery basket or on the top basket.

The top spray arm may be blocked or restricted and not turning. Therefore not washing out the tablet. The spray arms can easily be removed for cleaning. If there is a foreign object blocking the holes in the end of the spray arm you will need to make sure you remove it rather than just poking it back in. If the spray arm is touching items in the lower basket, you may be able to raise the top basket onto its other set of wheels.

… Or you may have a problem with the water level or circulation pump but check out the above first.

Alternatively, you could go back to using the powder, salt and rinse aid which the machine was designed to use in the first place.
