It’s indicating an error by the sound of it.
Is the light flashing with any kind of sequence along with any other lights on ?
Dave.

AL01 indicates a flooded base/overfill problem which may have been caused by a few things, internal leaks, poor loading overfoaming etc.
With some towels at the ready, tilt the dishwasher and see if any water runs out from the bottom, if it does then that’s the problem. If it happens again there will be an underlying cause.
Check Repairs@ for an engineer to resolve if the fault persists 🙂

got rid of the alo1, there wasnt any fooding, now i just cant get it to start up a wash sequence it seems to crash after a few mins and i cant do nothing with it, also if i turn it off it turns itself back on, think manufactures make machines to break after your years warranty is up. hotpoint wanted £87 just to come out and look at it, i can look at it for free it still doesnt fix the damn thing.

sharp,
Please understand that your dishwasher is a complex piece of kit that requires expert attention at this point. It is NOT something you can fix and it will not cost you anywhere near £87 to get a local independent repairer is as Dave Conway suggested in his last post. I will go along with that idea purely as your next best course of action to resolve this! 🙂
