    I have a smeg range cooker, 5 years old. Basically when I set the cooking function dial on the main oven the whole display and thermostat and function dial short.

    You can actually hear the click as it shorts. The main display and the thermostat light up fine until the function dial is touched. It suddenly stopped whilst I was using the oven.

    Have tried the repairs@ function on this site but it comes up blank for the brighton area. Is there a national smeg repair number – or is there anyone out there in this area who could recommend a registered engineer?
